Creativity is an innate piece of what propels humanity further into the future. As music is my favorite form of artistic expression, I chose to sit down with talented artists and attend concerts and events to immerse myself in musical culture. I am fascinated behind  and how musicians are able to continually innovate and create new and interesting sounds.

Concerts especially are places where musicians are able to display their abilities for an audience of eager listeners. I believe that an individual view of an event allows for direct connection to the reader feeling as if they are there. I am no reporter, just a curious and open minded spectator with a love of writing. I enjoy talking to people about the things they love, and watching them excel at their craft live.

Originally, this site looked very different and it was known as merelyexisting.com
The name, design and some of the content was influenced by a particular time, and I decided to transition the site into what you see before you. I have grown as a writer and an observer, honing into what I really want to write about and discuss, live music.
